The University of Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey team secured a well-deserved victory over the Indiana University Hoosiers with a final score of 3-1 on November 22, 2025. The game was held at Canlan Sports in West Dundee, Illinois.
The Gophers outshot the Hoosiers with 39 shots compared to Indiana’s 34. Despite multiple powerplay opportunities for both teams, neither was able to capitalize. The Gophers went 0/5 on power plays, while the Hoosiers were 0/7.
Golden Gophers’ goalie, Owen Peterson, put on an impressive performance, saving 33 out of 34 shots. On the other end, Hoosiers’ Evan Tompkins managed to save 36 out of 39 shots.
The game’s scoring was opened by Golden Gophers’ #24 Brady Aubut, who netted a goal. The Hoosiers managed to get on the scoreboard with #18 Luke Slaven scoring their only goal of the game.
