The University of Minnesota’s Golden Gophers faced a tough defeat against the Lindenwood University Lions yesterday, with a final score of 3-5. The game was played at the Centene Community Ice Center in Missouri.
The Gophers came into the game with high energy, but the Lions’ aggressive offense proved to be too much. Despite having fewer shots on goal (23 to the Lions’ 49), the Gophers managed to score on 2 of their 2 powerplays.
