In a stunning display of offensive prowess, the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers decimated the Bethel University Royals with a final score of 13-0 at the TCO Sports Garden on October 18, 2025.
The Golden Gophers were relentless, firing an astonishing 99 shots on goal. The Royals, on the other hand, managed a mere 5 shots, all of which were expertly saved by Gophers’ goalie, Jason Conlan. Despite the barrage of shots, Royals’ goalie Dawson Sellner managed to make an impressive 79 saves.
The powerplay units for both teams didn’t see any action, as there were no penalties awarded during the game. This is a testament to the discipline and sportsmanship displayed by both teams.
Brock Foslien of the Golden Gophers was the standout player of the match, providing his team with 3 assists. Bennett Wagenman of the Royals, unfortunately, couldn’t contribute to his team’s efforts.
The Golden Gophers will be looking to continue their winning streak when they face the Royals again on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at 7:40 pm CDT at the Fogerty Arena. With this kind of performance, they have set a high bar for themselves for the rest of the season.
