The University of Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey team has had an impressive season so far, and on Sunday, February 12th, they added another win to the record. The Golden Gophers traveled to the University of Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs and came away with a 3-2 victory.

The Golden Gophers had a slight edge in shots, firing off 36 shots compared to the Bulldogs’ 32 shots. The Golden Gophers powerplay was 1-for-5 while the Bulldogs were 0-for-6. Both teams had an impressive showing in goal, with Golden Gophers goalie Matthew Bryant making 33 saves on 32 shots and Bulldogs goalie Luke Grote making 33 saves on 36 shots.

For the Golden Gophers, Michael Scherer had two assists, and for the Bulldogs, Tyler Davidson scored the only goal. It was a great team effort for the Golden Gophers, and they can look forward to the rest of the season with confidence. Congratulations to the Golden Gophers on their victory!
